First thanks to everyone that Replied to my posts about the tejon it will be here Tomorrow. doe's anyone use a hard case for the tejon I use a 36" Large hard case for my mxt and fit's everything good I have 5 coils extra rods headphones and the rest of the acc's. the tejon case will hold less. the 9x8 and both 5.75 coils and headphones. so if I can use a smaller case would be nice.

A few years back I modified (cut down) the width of a "Soft" Bow case and use it to carry whichever of my detectors I would be hunting with.I eventually got around to mod.4 bowcases. They are a bit bulky if you have a bunch of detectors all being piled into the back of a vehicle, but that is good in that there is plenty of padding and probably no way you could ever damage a detector in one. Only problem now is that the "soft cases can no longer be found, not for 18-20$ like they were before at Wally World. If you find one, better grab it if you plan on using it for a case. I also used a couple of the Pickup Truck, Black Vinal: behind the seat :Rifle tote /tool organizer thingys that I had gotten many Christmases ago(and never used) to stuff my Lightweight(Side Winder & Compadre) Tesoros in. Stitch up one end and then stitch the other end with some velcro, and it closes tick tight. They come in two lengths, both just barely long enough, so you need to have a good idea of how long a detector you want to sack up. They too are now also in very short supply though they can be found. Not exactly hi- tec sacks, but good rain/snow day projects, and they worked for me both $ wise and in purpose.HH, Charlie
