Hardware Question about my new Explorer Se

JASONSPAZ1

Hello all.
I just got home from work and put together my new SE, I picked up this morning.
Anyway I have a hardware question. The coil connector socket located under the control box seems to have some play to it a wiggle is a good way to describe it. Is this normal? I think it is since it seems to reduce stress on the socket from the shaft. I just want to be sure if this is a normal feature.
Anyway I took the SE into my back yard about twenty minutes ago. My yard has been hunted by myself over the past ten years with several different detectors. I turned it on swung the coil and Bam! a 1977 quarter that was real deep. It is a small yard and I am positive I have swung other detectors over this quarter without a peep. I cant wait to do some serious detecting soon
Thanks in advance
HH
