Harvested another wheat field, with a touch of silver

saw this house up for auction, called the realtor and found the owner. He told me it was fine to hunt it before it sold.

There was very little signals in this yard, one of the cleanest farm houses I have ever MD'd managed 19 wheats, 1939 silver quarter, misc relics....

thought I had a silver dime when I saw this play coin in the dirt clod, but it was just a play coin, marked on the back western stamping co.

Very nice finds and that is a nice looking house and large lawn area! Should be some more to find, as no one can touch every inch of ground with the detector in a few hours or day! Congrats! :) God Bless! Betty

Ma,
the front yard is void of signals it is almost scary, I spent about 5 hours yesterday and today on that front yard alone going across it in different directions. There just isn't any signals much at all, and I am using my detector in all metal mode!

Well, then it sounds like it has been gone over and over by another or other detectorists and most of the goodies found, if there were any lost! Most old timers who lived in the house almost all their lives did not have much to lose, so whatever could be found would be very scarce! The old parks here in the St. Louis areas have been hunted and hunted for over 20 plus years or more and a few good oldies are still being found. Just have to keep going back to some places and keep trying, but if there aren't any coins....then there aren't any!  God Bless! Betty

Yes! But could be more that aren't so easy to find by being scattered far apart! A few is better than none anytime! :) God Bless! Betty

That is alot of wheaties, good hunt to me. I really like the badge.:minelab:

Nice looking yard too. That is how I stripe lawns! :)
