Has anybody thought about/tried a NEL sharpshooter.....

on their f-44 yet?... I've used one on an explorer with great results...Think a DD on the 44 would improve the overall hunting ability of the detector. Any thoughts??

I have the NEL Sharpshooter for my F5. Since the coils from the F5 will work on the F44, I figured that I would give it a try. The NEL Sharpshooter does work on the F44 and it does a great job, at least in the trashy parks I hunt I like it much more than the stock coil. My biggest problem is that the parks that I hunt are picked over and there is very little except new drops and lots of trash. I have not been able, as yet, to give the Sharpshooter coil a good workout on a field that has some targets that are buried very deep. I will need to take a road trip to be able to give the sharpshooter a good workout.
