When I squat down after locating something to dig and push the button to not get interference from my pinpointer, I lay my Simplex across my legs and sometime I start getting chatter on it. I look at the screen and the x is gone. I push the button again and check the screen to make sure the x is there and it’s ok sometimes and once in awhile it does it a couple times. If I put the detector on the ground with it basically sitting vertical it doesn’t seem to have a problem. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim
