Has anyone tried one of their smaller coils on the E Trac yet?

Just completed a test with the 8" Minelab Explorer coil fitted to the E-Track and it works really well, in a cluttered area I got good separation between targets only six inches apart, also makes no difference to FE CO numbers at all and only a slight difference on the depth gauge.

Should be a good investment for anyone using in a trashy area also didn't really make that much difference to depth. I will upload the 8" coil graph in the next 24 hours.

Air test and in a garden test bed.

NOT field tested.....yet.

4.5x7 Inch EXcelerator Coil for Explorer. (This has a pretty impressive separation and depth ability in an air test. It's also so light to swing.

Coiltek Platypus

Coiltek Joey

Minelab's 8 inch

Sunray X-1

Depth is pretty good for all on ferrous and non ferrous targets that were tested. The depth meter on the E-trac still seems fairly accurate. Even on the X-1.

They all have a great target separation factor but for me , the 4.5x7 Inch EXcelerator seems to best of all in terms of size and what seems better performance in a controlled test. It's the lightest to swing. I intend to use it and the C/T Joey in a field hunt in the next week.
