Has anyone used a NEL Hunter on an F2?

Just wondered if it's worth the investment.

I got the F2 today, and a quick test has the stock getting a penny at 4". But I bought the package (with the sniper coil, pinpointer, headphones, etc) and wondering if I didn't get the crap coils from long ago, since the wires seem awfully thin.

If you hold the PP button, the sucker changes threshold at 12", and even IDs depth at 12". So the potentials there.

If this was an air test, and keep in mind inside your home there could be lots of interference affecting depth, but at normal and decent testing areas mine will usually come closer to 8" with solid repeatable hits with the standard, up to 6" or more with the sniper on a cent.
Both will definitely go further than 4" no matter what is going on in the environment.

Try testing at another site and see if you get an improvement.

So, were you testing it with the little 4" coil or the stock 8" coil?
The F2 I had with the 8" did a pretty good job in the ground around the 6" range, I would expect the 4" to be less for sure but my ground and your ground makes a different as well.
