Besides, there sure is a lot of great finds being posted lately, so another day won't kill you. At least I hope not! :stretcher:It will be a good post, promise. It would be 1 or 2 in the Morning if I did it tonight and I need to shower up still, eat something and most important, get some rest. I have some of the finds soaking and have most of the others already cleaned, scanned, and ready. I also have most of the Post written out so Until tomorrow night, Good Luck and HH.:goodnight:

James i guess i will just have to wait one more day, but I may see Tim On Tuesday and he will tell me also.
I haven't had time to take a picture of my finds this weekend, but got 5 silver in about 4 hours total i was there. I got a very nice full Liberty 1912 barber dime, a 1927 merc and a 1928 merc plus a 1947 Rosie and a 1957 Rosie plus 11 Wheaties with the oldest 1916 and a couple of those 1919 that look like they were lost the day they were new as all detail is there. I was using the SE with the Sun Ray X-8 coil and all the silver and most of the Wheaties were with trash as I dug nails and small nuts and bolts in the same hole as the coins were. The audio come though, but the visual ID was bad as I run the smart find with ferrous tones with my big T pattern with the whole top opened up with just a slight black on the very top left so I get rid of most of the small nails and yet hear other iron and catch the hight tone of a good signal, then I have the center open until the bottom so it looks like a big T on the screen. I would say if I had been running digital the ferrous would have been around 12-15 while the conductivity would have been around 24-26 on the silver dimes. .
Wife was with me on Sunday and see got a lot of new coins with the MXT plus a older pot pipe that looks real nice and other misc items.

Now what we need to do is go to the lot behind the house i was at and where you found some barber and IH that was the old school. I was told by the guys who yard I am detecting the old guy passed away and he think we would have no problem detecting the vacant lot if we want. Maybe some Friday afternoon when you get off work we can hit it.

James, Do you and Rick get along with Greg at Treasure Island?

He's fun to talk to but if there is something he is trying to buy from you, I feel he will try to get it as cheap as possible. I get along with him but all Coin Dealers are out to make a few bucks. If you need any more in-depth, PM me and tell me why you ask. Good Luck and HH.

He was one of the guys from our first club we had called the "Valley Treasure Hunters" that lasted a few years.
Used to buy all my Compass detectors and the Teknetics too from him and sent all my friend to him too to buy detectors as we wanted to keep him going.
Now I am a competitor for him on detectors as I wanted to try the Minelabs Sovereigns back in 1996 and he wanted nothing to do with them so I checked out to become a dealer in Minelabs and the Sun Ray products so I could try them. After people were telling him about all the great finds a few of us were getting with the Minelab Sovereigns that he couldn't believe he missed in Island park in Fargo and a few others like Oak Grove Park I think he started checking on the Minelabs and became a Minnesota dealer around 2000 when the Explorers came out I understand, as Minelab didn't have him listed for ND at that time as I ask why they set another dealer up 35 miles from me, so we are competitors now for detector sales so I don't think he like me anymore. He does have a great new shop with some interesting finds he and Bob plus others have found that he has bought over the years, very impressive displays that make you want to take up detecting.
I think James, Tim and Dale do more selling for me with actual finds they find with their Explorers they got from me when people see what others have missed with their detectors. These 3 guys are awesome with the Explorers and each has the Sun Ray X1 pin point probes which they will tell you too is the first accessory if you have a Explorer as you will find more in less time.
