Have Quattro will travel

Circle C Digger

New member
I would like to take my quattro with me during business trips. I have been looking into getting a hard case to protect my detector. I need one that I can carry on a plane and store in the overhead compartment. Any recommendations?

Broke the detector down and packed it securely (bubble wrap and towels) in a carry-on. The last minute at the airport, I decided to check it and had no problem. When I got to the Carribean, I had a great back pack and had it broke down in the back pack till I put it together and used it.

Checking it on the plane wasn't a problem for me at the gate.

Good luck and happy hunting.

Thanks for the info. I went ahead and purchased a Fisher brand travel hard case for $72 at Ron's Dixie Metal Detectors. I was told that the Quattro will fit nicely in it with room to spare. The inside dimensions of the case are 21x14x6. Since I plan on taking it on a plane, the case will easily fit in the overhead storage compartment.
