Have someone move the bleachers

Hunt on April 20th, Sunday AM
Went out on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning and hit a baseball diamond seating area. The kids had moved the seating arrangement off it's site and I knew right away this would be a good location to detect. As you can see from the flagged location of the original site versus where the seating area is now, the old square would be about 8 ft. x 8 ft.

I had the 250 Ace with the sniper coil on jewelry mode and found it to be constantly dinging. I had done some of these in the past and knew it would be badly littered. I worked it for about 1 1/2 hours and this is what came out of this little site. Too bad there wasn't more higher coin denominations or jewelry! Lots of pennies and junk.

This was my choice of weapons for that morning.

Thanks for looking.

Is that a token of some sort that is beside the 3rd row of cents from the top?

Sometimes you can find some great stuff there.
I have tried getting under bleachers but its almost impossible
and to make matters worse many of them have a layer of
compacted gravel, not very easy to dig in.

Great hunting!

Most of the bleachers around here are on concrete slabs. Just a quick eyeball to see if someone dropped something. No need for a metal detector there. Also, all the city parks have had their tot lots refloored with a solid rubber base, so no need for a detector under those jungle gyms. You have to go to the burbs to get to the mulch, sand, or gravel tot lots.

The coin on top of the third row is called a loonie whiched replaces our $ 1.00 paper bill. We also have a toonie coin $ 2.00 that replaces our paper bill.
You start finding these two coins and your totals money counts add up fast .:detecting::garrett:

What a great opportunity....to get there first and get all that loot. looks like some kids has been stealing and breaking Christmas lights :nono:

Looks like it was well worth the 1 1/2 hour you spent there!!! Great job scooping it out, you gotta always have your eyes peeled for sites like that.

Ive done that too - moved the bleachers. I found very nice 14K ruby ring last season that way.
