i just recieved a cabela's spring catalog and i was a bit surprised to see they now sell minelab as well as bounty hunter.just wondering how that is going to affect the local dealer.

My local dealer is 50 miles away so I bought my SE from cabellas in lacey Washington. I got a flyer today and Cabellas had a new Fisher on sale for $250. When I bought my SE the salesman said he didn't sell to many of them and he really new nothing about it. He said Most people bought the 200 dollar bounty Hunters.:pulltab:

I love following the $200 Bounty Hunters, they do U turns and ask are you finding anything? I guess they wonder why some guy is digging up things in their tracks, and sticking them in his pouch.

Good luck having the 8 dollar per hour clerk explaining to someone how to use their $1,250 SE, because you know he can afford one. I don't think the small, experienced dealers have too much to worry about.
