due to moving. Finally put my Explorer 2 together and hit my yard using the x1 probe.Found a 1956 wheat right away, then a clad quarter, zinc penny,1959 canada penny and a nice 1926 Farthing, whatever that is.I switched between Smartfind wide open screen and Digital.I really like the two number readout in digital.Sure helps in ID,ing a target.Sensitivity I reduced to manual 20 due to falsing,DEEP,Conduct at first, then switched to Ferrous which worked better.Like someone below said, I received some high pitched tones with the crosshairs to the far left.I will have to go back and dig them to besure of what they are. This was my first time out with the E2 after having used several E XS in the past.Despite sore elbow tendons for the past two months I was able to detect and have some fun.Hope the rain goes away so I can get out more this week.Best of luck to you who can get out.Keep the great tips coming!!

Good to see you post Mike. It has been a long time since I saw your name up here. Are you still in Eureka after the move?

Take care and HH - Robin

still in Eureka.Just got off the busy street to a quieter one.Hope to do some more detecting this week if the rain will allow.Good luck at that potatoe field!!
