I've been using all summer. Now all at once with a new battery it goes crazy and everything lights up and beaps. With mostly dead battery it seems to be fine and we found out with head phones it is fine as well. Using alkaline batteries just like we have all summer. Hasn't been in real hot conditions for most part either that I know of.
