Having Problems With Falsing In Salt Water

Waited for a calm day at the beach, not much black sand here in bradenton Fl. I am using the WS5 headphones with the antenna kit.and using the wet beach mode (P7). Getting a lot of chatter and falsing. I reduced sensitivity to as low as 70 and the detector loses a lot of depth. Tried both the 17 and 12 KHz , it made no difference. The detector acts like my old Fisher 1280 as far as chatter and loss of depth. Are there any other settings you recommend? I can say that the Deus is very comfortable to use in the water, hardly any drag.Works excellent in the sand.
I have been an avid Salt Water hunter since 1989, this is my first Deus.

Being an avid salt water hunter you know that no single frquency machine is going to give you the performance of a muti frequency detector. There are probably a few tricks to make things better. Maybe someone can help.
