Hawk visited us

It's so dry in the desert that creatures are coming into the city for water & food. Here's a hawk in my tree right outside the house. Friends that live in the foothills tell me that they see all kinds of animals, some a lot bigger than this big hawk. The hawk is yelling at my cat on the ground. Steve in so az

but I wonder if he gets hungry enough if he wants to tangle with a cat. After all the cat has 4 sets of claws and teeth - and cats love birds - well most cats love to eat them. Now if it was our Yorkie/Pomeranian, it would be a free lunch - she is sooooo dumb and would think sh was getting a free ride.
