went to radio shack bought an extension cable 6 ft that is the shortest one they had works great. hit a signal lay my detector down use both hands to dig.
finding wheaties, but no silver, could i be missing it?

Where there are wheats, there is Silver . I think it is almost a mathematical ratio. I`m at 65 wheats to 15 Silver since getting the Se hunting on 2-26-11. No IH yet. HH

The guys are right. If you're finding wheaties the silver will show up eventually. Over the years, my wheatie to silver ration is probably about 7 wheaties for every 1 silver coin.Keep at it.

Man, you guys...you keep reinforcing the 6 or 7 wheats per silver...I have 13 wheats this year and not a single silver (part of why I bought an SE Pro a week ago! Hopefully now I can get my ratio where it belongs!)

I guess i'm doing pretty good at about 4.5 Wheats to one silver coin. I think the thing with me has been the slower sweep speed of the Explorer, making me cover the ground more completely. Since I got my new Explorer my silver coins and Wheats have gone way up. Have found at least one silver coin almost every time i've been out. Still looking for the ever elusive Indian Head penny. Joe.
