Head phone volume

While testing both models of the X-terra, I realised after about a weeks use that the head phone volume was separate to the speaker volume (nice.)

So if you use your X-terra without headphones at maximum volume, when you plug in your head phones the volume reverts back to your last head phone volume setting. Saves adjusting the volume each time you change from head phone to speaker.

That is correct - the two settings are retained and the detector switches between the two when the headphones are plugged in or removed. The headphone icon appears to let you know which setting is in use.

Another innovative feature tied to the audio circuit is that the detector will reduce the volume level once battery strength reaches the LOW level (one bar remaining) to extend battery life and hence detecting time.
