Headhunter PI for gold nuggets?

I heard that Scott in Maine had found some gold and copper nuggets when he lived in Arizona recently , which he did confirm, not sure what PI machine he was using but it wasn't a Minelab. He told me he had modified his machine to where it almost equal a Minelab GP Extreme. I was wondering if a Detector Pro Headhunter PI machine with the 11 inch coil, would find gold nuggets too and what the downside is? I would be considering using it in Arizona,Nevada, maybe Maine , haven't heard too many good things about the Garrett Infineum except from Steve Hirschback at Alaska Mining and Diving supply.

Scott was using a Goldquest SS that he later modified at the suggestion of Reg. and Eric. Some of the modifications were to try out a DD type loop, and some circuit changes.
Your HH PI will work, but it will not be as sensitive toward the smaller nuggets. Also, because with the HH PI the circuit does not allow much in the way of adjustments, you will have a more difficult time with it on nasty ground. It will work, it just won
