Headin' down south :)

We're making our way to Tennessee tomorrow to stay with a friend. Lord willing, in about 4 years, we'll be moving down there. Not going to be too far from Doug so I'm really looking forward to finally meeting him after all these years :) Guess I should bring a detector or two, but I'm thinkin' it's going to be a wee bit too hot for me :) but, just in case, I will :) I will definitely be bringing my fly rod though. Haven't tossed this baby since I started MD'n and I can't wait to do some fishin'.
As I've told all my friends, I'm looking forward to the day when "y'all" becomes part of my vocabulary :csflag: I'm so sick of living in such a busy, expensive, traffic laden place... I need to live somewhere where being a Christian is the norm  Been to Tennessee before and LOVED it! Prayer for traveling mercies would be appreciated ;)

Happy 4th to everyone!

Being from Alabama, "y'all" has always been a part of my vocabulary! - Lisa

Your going to the right place, if ya didn't say y'all or yaw it would be abnormal and be a Christian blend right in for sure! Me and the Bama girl treasure digger are both from Alabama and know what we're saying, no to mention the heat in this area is something to get use to! Good luck and safe travel, hey TD how are you doing ?

I'm OK, Hank, how about you? Just sick of the heat, but that's nothing unusual. And you are correct! It might be spelled "y'all", but it must be pronounced - yaw.

Haha, fuuny stuff, I'm so sick of the heat to its miserable to be outside in this heat and I'm staying home today and not going anywhere, come on winter get here quickly!!!!! Glad all is well!

Winter can't get here fast enough for me. I feel this way every year... beginning every February!

Glad you are going to get to meet Doug. Oh and you do know that TN is like 300 degrees this week! :hot: Maybe you should move to God's country here in MI. :thumb up: Praying for traveling mercies!
