Talked to my detecting buddie Big Bob from up north a last nite. He will pick me up April 22nd and we will head for the Outer Banks beaches of North Carolina with a stop at a South Carolina beach and then on to Florida. Probably be gone for a couple of weeks. Have been wanting to hit the Outer Banks for a long time. Hope we will be able to get some oldies there. Hey Steve, when did you say you will be in Florida?
 
We're leaving April 24 - be in Pensacola & Destin, Fla area about May 6 for a week or so. Going to meet Ronbo about May 4-5. I will be online most days through my laptop so can see where you are anytime you post or email me. Steve

post a travel log every couple days on the trip. Kinda keep in touch and show what can be seen & particularly what can be detected along the way.

Can't wait til it gets a little warmer (should be nice today, in the mid 60's). Went to the beach yesterday for a bit... had to wear a ski mask, a down coat and gloves <img src="/metal/html/cry.gif" border=0 width=40 height=15 alt=":cry">

Staying at Jerry's in Memphis til Janis gets rid of her flu. He has a digital camera and we are going to give it a try. Hope I'll be able to post some.
