That is really sad about the elderly couple. A pack of dogs is nothing to take lightly, even if they look like the neighbors pets. If I see a pack of 4 or more dogs running together, I keep my on them, if I am out in the same area. When I was growing up in S.C., the part of the county I lived in had a problem with feral dogs and one Summer there was a bouty for them, I think it was the Summer of 66, not sure, it has been awhile.
