headphones for summer use

pax

New member
IM looking for some ear bud style headphones with cord I can use in the summer heat when that time rolls around? to be used with my 705.Thank you for any advise

any of them will work you'll just need a 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor ...

You have to have a stereo adaptor plug. A mono plug won't work.

Personally, I prefer the small foam-padded headphones to the earbud type as the padded type allow for better air circulation. I wore out a cheap pair of the Garretts that use to come with the Ace series (under $20) The ones I have now are Koss KTX-8. They are foldable, have a straight cord, volume control and 1/8 inch straight plug. They have great sound reproduction and fit well. As with most small headphones, you'll need the 1/4 inch adapter. I prefer a 1/4 inch - 90 degree plug, so it doesn't stick out so far. Just need to take a few minutes to change this one out. HH Randy

I'd do a google search and see what comes up. My brother either got them from that online store that is named after a river in South America, or that big online auction site. I think he told me they were under $20 at that time. HH Randy
