Headphones Question

Has anyone tried the Timberwolf FMD Headphones with the Explorer or Quattro? (ones with no volume control) Seem to have adequate "specs". Volume control of Quattro seems to work fine with my small Heil phones that I have used. Any/all comments would be greatly appreciated. TNX
 
Guess I need to do better job understanding "sponsors" vs. "advertizers". I had found the Timberwolf by clicking a sponsor banner above (turned-out to be DIXIE). I like the specs (impedance, frequency response) and the fact that they didn't have volume a control. I will check-out the Grey Ghost Line again. Thanks...
