Heard back on the 1945 class ring from the Herff Jones rep

The initial "C" is the first letter of the school...wonder how many schools there are back in 1945 that started with the letter "C". The initials on either side of the year is the individual's initials. The gentleman has forwarded this to the main office of Herff Jones to see if they can provide further information. He said he did not think they would be able to help much since there were no computers back that far so there may be no records available or readily available anyway.

We have a city and its high school is Clare not far from here. There is Central Michigan University not too much fruther south. No know schools up this way with a "C" that I know of. Will have to check the internet.

Thought I'd let you guys know how it is going.
