Heard some disturbing news today...

I came back to work to hear a co-worker of mine-a "Christian"-got suspended for stealing bottles of drinks the Co. I work for has in storage to give employees on hot days...A word to the wise:Think carefully about EVEYTHING you do.He is married, with a little boy...The other news is I heard last week some woman jumped off the Mackinaw Bridge last week-Turns out it was a co-worker's neice...Please pray for the families of these 2 co-workers;and also pray that none of us fall victim of YOU-KNOW-WHO.:thumbdown::(...This company I work for has a reputation of taking a very hard line against anybody that steals ANYTHING from them,as they should...Its probably less that 50/50 he will be back...

..."Sin makes you stupid"

Think about it... you do one thing and then another to cover that up. Next thing you know you're in deeper and deeper. Now you have to do even more to cover for all of the things you've done. Each thing you do is more stupid than the last. Losing a good paying job for stealing a couple of bucks worth of anything is really stupid. Over 22 years at my place, I've seen quite a few people lose their (high) paying jobs with incredible job security (you CAN'T get fired UNLESS you do something really stupid) all for nothing but a couple of bottles of soda or a 1/2 hour on a time card. I have to say (and I hope this doesn't make me sound callous) that I've never felt sorry for any of them. They just never appreciated what they had. They did what they did because they felt they "deserved" it. Well, in the end, they got what they really deserved...
