Heaviest wedding band I ever seen.

I am posting this ring for my buddy Gary, we were hunting a beach in Gaeta, Italy a few years back and he snagged this monstrous band of 18k gold. He finally came by today so we weighed his ring and it came in at an incredible 16.8 grams of gold=$226.70 at today

May I ask, if you did Gaeta, would you have tried just North of there in Terracina or maybe San Felice Circeo?

I was born in San Felice and when I went to have a look see back in 1982 I regret not having a detector.
