General Ray

First off I would like to make a sincere apology to all my friends here on the Friends and Finds Forum for my pass knee jerk reactions and some times very nasty replies, I was wrong, I have been wrong and nobody knows it more then Ray does.
I do feel very bad about it and can just kick myself in the head because some times Ray can't keep his big mouth shut, I know this and after banning myself from this forum for two weeks to do a little soul searching it has never been so clearer to me.
Most of you have known Ray for tens years or so, I have met, hunted and broke bread with many of you crossing these United States in doing so, (and whipped you pretty good with my Explorers
) so you know the real Ray and not this puke head that shows up from time to time and I sincerely apology for that!
In the the last two weeks I have gotten to know my family again on Facebook, just what the Doctor ordered for ole Ray, last time I saw family was 6 years ago when my younger brother passed away, before that 8 years ago when my other younger brother passed away, the three little ones are down to one now but still many family members out there for Ray to reconnect with and I have
!
I took some cheap shots at the UMP and Elson and this just makes me ill to the core, my hope is they will forgive me, my sincere apology Rick and Elson, that's not where Ray's heart is and I hope you understand that, it was that puke head, not Ray :sad:!
With that being said I like to think about the good times we have had in the last tens years as a forum, this is were the ties bound us. Remember on the old Whites Forum when Marc decided to change his format, I do, we had a full blown mutiny, haha
!
People were dropping out and leaving the forum, some thing had to be done so I opened up my big mouth and off we went into cyber space as the lost tribe with no home, man folks was that a lot of work
. I landed us a short stay at that forum, what the heck was the name of it again, we were there for three weeks then one Monday morning we all woke up and logged onto that forum and got the message, THE SITE YOU ARE TRYING TO REACH IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE! HAHAHA, I'll never forget that, hey but we had a good run for three weeks
Then the work started again trying to keep folks together until we found another home, I contacted the Guv, said hi, my name is Ray, do you have room for a lost tribe, he said sure, welcome to Findmall where he gave us the Whites Forum were we also met a great friend in Art. Remember what Art said when we showed up, he said were did all the You-hauls come from, hahaha
!
Then the few people that posted on that forum started to complain (not Art, he was happy to see us) about the lost tribe that just landed and that we didn't talk about just Metal Detecting so the work started again. I asked the Guv for our own Forum and here we are, we even voted on the name, Ed made a great set of basic rules for new comers at the top 
. Then you people started whining about the format so the work started once again and I ask the Guv is there any way, well, you know the story, he not only gave us our old format that we wanted but had to change all his forums to the present format, it was alot of work to say the least but I gotta give it up to the Guv, he has done us good and we have a home for life
Now the Friends and Finds Forum is the leader of the pack at Findmall and I want you all to know this, not only will Ray get back to getting it right again but there is a old friend and Marine standing at the front gate to this Forum to assure it's longevity and success continues as simply the best forum on the net, you have my word on that because that's what you mean to me and always did, keeping us together
