Just wanted to to say hello to everyone. I just recently purchased an X-Terra 305 off of eBay so I could get back into detecting a little bit. In the past I've owned a few White's, an Explorer, an Explorer XS, a Safari and a Quattro. I usually buy them and play with them a while and then sell them off and do something else for a while!
The 305 I got off of eBay was listed as having a "double D" coil but when it arrived it was the standard "concentric coil" that was mislabeled as a "double D" from the factory! The label clearly says "double D". I thought that was really strange but I decided to keep the detector any way since I got it at a fair price and it was like new. Hope to get out and detect a bit next weekend. First I have to get used to the X-Terra in my back yard. Cheers!
