Hello from western Massachusetts. I found my old Compass Coin Magnum II when clearing out the garage and decided to clean it up and see if it still worked. I don't even think I had it balanced correctly and found thirty eight cents in my front yard. I haven't touched it in close to twenty years. Then I got to thinking about maybe buying something a little better. Well the misses and I took a ride to Cabela's in Connecticut and I saw the BH Land Star. The price seemed ok at $349.00 but at check out it rang up at $249.00. Did I get a great deal?? Is this machine worth what I paid? Any opinions on it? By the way I went over the same area and found one wheat penny and seven zincs. I like the no motion pinpointing on it too. Comments?
