Just wanted ya all to know that if I don't post on the forum it is because of this inconsiderate Computer, Internet Explorer and trying to download my renewed Norton anti-virus protection! I paid for it, but haven't been able to download it, so problems, problems and more problems, I was ready to pull my hair out and throw the thing out the door, but Ma needs her hair and too expensive for me to toss my Computer! :lol: So, like I said if you don't see my posts.....I will still be praying, but have quit getting on the Net or I've put the stubborn Puter away until I move, because sooner or later I will be having to disconnect it for a new floor to be put down or moving! Don't know as yet, as everything costs me money, money and more money! :cry: :sad: :biggrin: :) :angel: God Bless! Ma! Ya all be happy now and find those really great goodies! Betty
 
when my Macafee ran out after three years I found a recommended free one on line!
 
Thanks Mike & DK.....I am still able to post because I still have my Norton 2008 Anti-virus working but it runs out today! I can't get the renewed one down loaded because of trouble with my Internet Explorer and I don't really know how to fix it, even with help, because I just can't do things and remember them like I once did! I want to make a backup CD for setting it back to the factory setting, but just don't have the time to back up the files I want to keep either and rerun the Computer from the factory setting! Ma, messes things up so badly that I'm not sure others could figure it out! I don't know if I have dimentia or getting Alhiemers and that is way I can't spell like I use to, so do all things while you are able to still do them, for time ends for everyone! :) God Bless! PS: I will try to post if I can, but if I can't you will know why! :rolleyes: And I'm sure others will be glad to see me leave, as I am very plain spoken when it comes to God's truth in the Bible Scriptures! :blink: :)

some things are free yet. I had a similar problem with Norton a few years back and I finally dropped them from my computer and went with Moon Secure protection - recomended by Mr Modem - a computer whiz on line. It's all free and so far has worked perfectly. Let me know if you want to try it, steve in so az
 
Thank you Lee and 7centsworth for your kind words! And Steve, I am trying to get a refund on the Norton Anti-Virus and when I get that done, I will be interested in your free one! I noticed there were some FREE when I went to get the anit-virus web site for Norton! I'll see what they do and actually I was able today to do some things to my Internet Explorer and it seems to be doing much better now.....I think I finally used their instructions, although I still have problems if they don't tell me step by step! I guess I'm a mess, as I can't see very well and don't remember what I did one sec, min or hour ago! :rofl:

I made cabbage soup with potatoes, fresh carrots, celery, onions, garlic and seasoning for Cliff....we had bought a big head of cabbage so needed to use it. Also cooked Brats and sliced them and put them in the soup! That way I cooked most of the grease out of them! Made cornbread....pkg type and he has eaten, but I haven't as yet. My days run from anywhere from 9 or 10 in the morning until midnight or after,so I eat at different times than most people or families! :lol: I do my deepest sleeping (also dreams) in the early mornings! Therefore, I take one day at a time and I can do it at my age! :) God Bless! Betty
 
PS....When I bought this Computer they put FireDog or something like that on and I never could do anything with it and I think Norton took over most of what it was supposed to do! I have eliminated it and should have done so long ago...just was trouble from the beginning! I'm still learning, so ya can teach an old dog new tricks....providing I can remember long enough to use them! :shrug: :lol: God Bless! Betty
 
Hey Ma. No one in their right mind would want to see you not post on this forum. If your being outspoken bothers them, then that's their problem. So far I have not read anything in your posts that was not true from your heart, and nothing has been against Gods' word. Speak on. I am outspoken also. Some people like what I say and others don't. I don't go around to insult anyone, but I would rather speak the truth and have the truth spoken to me, than have someone sugar coat it just to make me feel good or for fear of offending me. Sometimes the truth hurts.
 
Yes, DK, the truth does hurt, when it is of God and someone doesn't want to hear it or change their ways! I don't like liars and never did....my ex turned out to be the father of them through serving satan, and if a person can't speak the truth then don't bother me with half-truths and lies! The Spirit of God within me doesn't want to hear them!

My Internet Explorer is working better after I used some instructions to help....I don't always understand instructions unless they are given step by step and don't leave out anything! :rolleyes: So, I will continue posting when I can unless I dismantle everything to be able to move my armouir for new flooring or moving!

I don't even have to speak to some people and they shoot darts at me because they know Whose Spirit is in me, for they have the wrong spirit ruling them! :cry: :sad: I don't bother hanging around them and leave when I am able, unless God makes a way for me to witness to them and their hearts have to be softened to receive the Word of God to be sown and watered! Would love to see all of my children and grandchildren saved.....but they don't argue with me when I try to help them in whatever troubles they're in or trials they're going through! They know from Whom their help comes, even if they don't want to serve Him like they should! :angel: God Bless! Ma Betty
