Newbie here. Learning with my new Eurotek Pro. From what I've read (and experienced so far), I have the right "machine"; now, it's test garden, research, and walking time!

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the Eurotek Pro. I have a Gamma and a couple of others. This hobby can be addictive so be careful. I have detected 5 to 8 hrs every day for the last 4 days. Happy Hunting!

Welcome to the forum . I too recently purchased the Euro Pro with the optional 11' search coil and have use it only once to search for a buried Cache that my Club President ask me to search for with another Club member of Gold and Silver for a property owner and we did the job. I've been metal detecting sense the 1960's, and if you are New to the Hobby I recommend you join a Metal Detecting Club in your area and get a hunt partner ( Wives and Family Members First ) and be a regular on the forum it will put on the Fast Track. Learn the Rules of Proper Digging, and respecting land owner's Property, lastly Read Your Manual Many Times and do a Test Garden of coins and junk in your back yard.
