Okay, here's the beef.......finances are tight and I am having to let go of my backup detector. It is a great shape Minelab Explorer XS with stock coil,coil stand, extra lower rod with a 15" WOT attached, UR-30 headphones (I did modify the unit from mini-jack to 1/4" phone jack, AA battery holder, 1800 mAh rechargeable battery, AC charger, 12V charger......I don't want to give it away, but I am looking to sell quick. What would be a FAIR price for me and the buyer? Any input appreciated.

Id be surprised if you got more than $700 on the XS since parts are getting difficutl to find and ML isnt to interested in doing repairs. Most people wont use the stand and expect a lower rod when they come with an extra coil. The WOT coil is a great coil and would be a nice add on for someone who already have a ML with say a Pro coil and want the XS as a backup. Personally i think the XS may be better in some ways than the II or SE. Put a price out there you dont have to take a penny less than you want as long as you feel both of you are getting a good deal. It may take a bit longer if its a price that might put someone on the fence.

Hi, Hrife. I would say, looking at ending auction prices on the big site, that the XS alone, in good condition, with charger, rechargeable battery pack, AA battery holder , book, etc, $450.00 to $475.00
I bought mine like a month ago for $470.00, with a black 10.5 stock coil, sunray stand, both battery packs, charger, etc. (Since then I've purchased separately the Minelab 8" coil and the Detech 14".)

May you get $700 or more for it? It depends on how people value the 15" wot coil and the headphones.

I would list it between $450-$475, then I would sell that wot coil apart. It may interest XS, II, and SE owners too!

But you never now for real...
 
I feel a good XS will be around $450-$500 and the WOT coil if nice will bring $140-$150, so complete around $600-$650
 
Hello HRife logical price for your xs would be like others said 450-500, but I think with WOT coil. On ebay you can get wot for 120 or even 100 if you are lucky.but i f you are seller you will get minus ebay taxes. try to put in classified for 550 if you hurry. good luck
 
Thanks everyone for taking the time for your input. I think I will keep everything together and ask $700.00 and see if it goes anywhere. It really is a very nice and clean machine.....hardly used. Again thanks for taking the time.
