found this and could never figure out what it was. it's thin, i think stamped brass, about the diameter of a nickle. under the bust is the letter "L". on the other side is what looks like an anchor with a cross on the top. i can't read any words on it. i found it with two LC's and a half dime at an old home site one time. any help would be appreciated. thanks.
 
Best guess, an early colonial trade token from the 18th century
