help needed with f2

hi all .
iam new to detecting and live in ireland ,i have a fisher f2 and when im on the beach it goes mad on the wet sand but its ok on dry ,any one able to give me a few pointers ??.

hunt dry sand only I'm afraid
And reverse hunt
hunt in PP mode and when you find a target check its number
I press the PP button when the coil is about one inch above the ground and when it is on the water side of the swing arc then walk parallel to the water
