Help! What is it?

A neighbor saw me metal -detecting and came over to talk! Used to own a metal detector. He went home to get this coin(?) he had found detecting. We are going to go detecting. I invited him to go to church and he agreed. I don't think he's saved but a nice guy. He let me take this coin? home to scan.
May God bless you all and be ready for the divine appointments.

but I bet it is cool! Plant those seeds Paul! :)

PAUL, IF THE OTHER GUY DUG THE COIN IN QUESTION, LIKE HE SAID... WHERE?? HOW OLD IS THE SITE... IN OTHER WORDS NOT DEVELOPED.

IT'S A UNIQUE MASSACHUSETTS UNOFFIACL COPPER

1776 PINE TREE COPPER (UNIQUE)............................................* ---

NOTHING IS KNOWN REGARDING THE ORIGIN OF THE PINE TREE PIECE DATED 1776

MORE PHOTOS, AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE WOULD BE NEEDED.... DOES THE COIN LOOK AS THOUGH IT WAS DUG? ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE, BECAUSE COPIES WERE MADE.

IF NOT A COPY, A COLLECTOR WOULD PAY BIG BUCKS FOR IT..... IF REAL, TELL HIM TO BE CAREFUL, HAVE IT GRADED, AND HAVE AN AUCTION HOUSE SELL IT....

IF REAL..... A FIND OF A LIFE TIME.....
