help wih se please

i can set up a custom program and get it to one of the save places..my problem is,i can't get it out of save without losing it.i've tried several times but no luck yet. i know i'm doing something wrong,but what?can anyone here help me?will appreciate any help'and p m is o.k. thanks and hh

So you've saved it in one the S1 - S6 Slots and you see a miniature version of your discrimination pattern pictured in that slot Right?

Then when you want to retrieve it you press the Menu Button, then the arrow next to SELECT and scroll down until you see the S slot the pattern is saved in. Next you press the arrow next to the saved pattern you want to use which places a check mark next to it. Then press the detect button and you should have your discrimination pattern set. You won't visually see it on the main detecting screen unless you are in SmartFind and not Digital.

I had that a little backwards myself at first. You go into save disc menu, save the discrimination pattern in whatever slot you want but then to load it, go into select dis and scroll (where you can √ and X your disc patterns, pulltabs,coins,etc) till the bottom until you see S1, S2 etc, press where you just saved that save disc routine you did and whala

One more thing to do is when you go to the select screen I will hit clear first to take off the pattern you were using then scroll down the pattern you want a put a check mark on it and hit detect and you have that one loaded up..
