Help with 6000 gamma coil

I have the one with the screw on connector that would works on the Fisher F44 and comparable models that share coils. I had one on an Omega 8000 that I sold and another was on a Fisher F44 that I sold the end of June. But I still have one new 7-inch coil in my Accessory Coil Tote should I come across another choice condition Omega 8000.

My problem is I have so many detectors right now, especially coin hunting units, that have all those needs covered so I might pass on an Omega 8000 if it came available.

But it is a very good working coil. I used to use the 8" concentric on the Omega 8000 until I came across the 7". The rod mounts in a little bit better position and the unit balances ideally, works really well, and that's why I latched onto an extra one to have on hand.

Sounds good Monte,
Thanks for the info!
One last question...is the bottom of these coils well constructed, or is a coil cover in order?
