New member
I now have a number of pieces of gold jewelry and would like a scale to weigh the stuff. I have no idea what I should get. I am not going to pay $100 or more dollars for one so what do you guys use??? Also have an idea about a gold testing machine but could use help there also... Thanks and Happy Trails....Z

I don't weigh jewelry, but his one works great for powder loads and you can select to read in grains, grams, carats, or ounces.

I've got one that was given to me via a club drawing that cost in the $10.00 range and was bought, I believe, at a hobby store or coin store. It's a us-magnum 1000 xr and weighs accurately when I compared it with one that a jewelry store uses. It is small, but works. HH jim tn

Thanks for the info and I am looking into your suggestions. Has anyone used the Golden Touch Electronic Gold Tester?
Looks like it is probably better to use the liquid and stone and test it that way? I have no idea?? Any help would be appreciated on a cheap gold tester. Thanks again and Happy Trails...Z
