help with vdi numbers

tnredneck

New member
I was just wondering if any of you could share vdi numbers that you specifically dig that dont fall in the penny, nickel, dime quarter etc. I hunt in areas that you would need a backhoe and a screen to sift everything that reads solin in both directions.
I generally watch my vdi numbers and dig specific targets but i am sure that i am missing some items that may be in the 40 to 80 range of the vdi numbers. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi redneck,

I live in colorado and we have allot of minerals in the soil,my numbers might vary slightly, silver coins and rings read around 93-95 VDI , gold reads around 21-24 VDI depending on size, hope this will help you.

Good Hunting,
Arnie

are you talking about the t-2. 93-95 is right on silver but 21-24 would be iron on the t-2.
