I just purchased an SE Pro, a huge move from an old bounty hunter. The problem I'm having is working an old park with lots of trash and I can't seem to get a good solid signal. The bounty hunter was easy, either signal or no signal and dig everything. The SE has lots of blips and pops. I've had several hits in clean areas that come across as solid. I have been using the conductivity/ferrous readout to identify targets and even practiced on a variety of things (penny, nickel, quarter, silver dollar, foil) and thought I had a good feel for sound and readout. When I get out in the field there is so much noise it seems almost constant and so I keep waiting for that good strong signal rather than digging every chirp I hear. How do I determine what's a good signal through all this? Just dig everything until I get used to it? Advice requested...
