Hello,

I am a brand new user of this forum, I would like to buy a Garret MD, a GTI or a GTA model.
Could you help me to do the right purchase, I use the MD in ghost towns, in a place where was settled an old Roman town to find coins/relics and in world war II battle sites in mountain.

Thanks for your help.

In all honesty, the best machine for your type of hunting is the Garrett GTI 2500. It has the all metal mode on it. The new catalog for 2006 has a pic of the GTI 2500 with some staters dug in the UK. What you need is a machine with a true all metal mode and manual ground balance. Use these features with the large coil and you should be in a position to get the old coins.

I was going to answer this when you posted but forgot to. Sorry about that. John is correct. The 2500 would be the right machine for your needs and it will connect to the Treasure Hound attachment for searching for items buried several feet down.

Bill
