I'll post more later. Here is my detector of choice in one of the holes I dug. You will notice that some of these holes are real big! They are the huts we dug. My biggest was about 8x8 and 2 feet deep!

we didn't hunt huts. I will post more pics later. The 2nd site where we hunted huts, I had to listen to deep iron. Which sometimes resulted in the fireplace in the hut. Then you had to work your way out!
 
Man, look like a meteor hit it. But I gotta like to those finds. Great pics. I gather the belt buckle was quite deep judging by the size of the hole.

did all the finds come from the same hut (hole) or were you able to move around? Love the WA minis, they're in great shape!

I got the ink well and a few smaller keepers out of that one!
 
I dug at least 4 big holes in 3 days, and surface hunted some too! I also dug about 10 test holes! Probably 2x2x2?

...you had a very succesful hunt!! Some of those bullets you found are rare, aren't they? And it looks like you found some Williams cleaners also.

Yes I got some Williams cleaners, and the Washington Arsenal and swag base are not rare. I have found them before. You find less of them by far than others though. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
