we went to a park we havent hunted yet. not much there but a small playground and a couple of ball fields. not where i wanted to go but my hubby insisted so we went. i did find the silver necklace and about 1.43 in clad. my hubby found the rest...too bad the chain is broken on the necklace though.

Silver is silver even if it is broken!! It will go back to 20.00 an oz. someday!! Nice finds.

Nice finds, but then for me being new, I enjoy all my finds. I went out some on Saturday and Monday, found a lot of clad, a Mercury dime and a Boy Scout necktie ring. I am all geeked to go again. Keep up the good work, remember you never know what you stumble across.

i like the boy scout neckslides. i have found 3 so far. wanting one with a wolf head on it. i find alot of clad to. this necklace is only my 3rd necklace.. i am still only 3 months new to this to. i think....

Dobbie, you are doing really good in detecting for a newb.....you sure are getting the hang of it already! The silver necklace and basketball pendant are nice....looks like a long chain attached to it! WTG! :clapping: You wouldn't have found it if you hadn't listened to hubby! So listen to him and do good!

God Bless!

so true Ma...He keeps rubbing that fact in. yes the chain is long. wish i could wear the pic dont give it justice.

A jeweler might be able to put in a new silver link to replace the broken one! It probably can be repaired but what it would cost I don't know or maybe it could be shortened to be able to wear it! Looks like the chain has a pretty design and is it too thin to repair???

God Bless!

thanx goes4ever and mike....I do believe the chain is to petite for repair. I am going to take it to my dad to see what he says. if it can be repaired he is the man to do it.

Hope your dad can repair it so you can enjoy wearing it! Nice to have a dad who MDs and willing to help you!

God Bless!
