Depending on where you dig, Nick, I think you'll love it. I don't think it'll do the work it is designed to do in really dry hard compacted dirt. Where I am, except for the middle of the summer when you shouldn't be digging plugs anyway, I can pop a plug with 6" of dirt hang on the grass. In another couple of scoops, if necessary, I can be down another 2-3". It's really hard to immagine how the angle they have in it makes it much easier to pry the plug up and out. Because the flap/plug comes out so cleanly, it's really hard to tell anyone ever hunted there.
