here is my digger solid and cheep

That looks like it would work great. What I like about it is the handle. I've been using the Minelab digger and the rubber grip keeps breaking at the end. I'm on the third grip and it needs replaced again. Like the solid handle alot but really like the digger blade on the Minelab digger.

Ive had a couple of garden trowels with that kind of metal..... key word had. Mine takes a lot of prying so i like the fiscker models that look like that.... that said, ive broken one of them so far too. I guess you arent supposed to stand on them huh? Good price... just be a little more careful than i am.

I had an old hunting knife that I used for years, about a 5" blade, 2 1/2" wide, solid tang. Gave up using it some years ago because it just didn't look good walking around public places with a hunting knife in my hand. I have a Lesche digger and it is solid, don't have to worry about it breaking. Picked it up relatively cheap. I don't like having tools break on me out in the field and this is One and done.
