Here is my Thanksgiving dinner being cooked ....

Since the perky Nancy was in Georgia visiting her parents for Thanksgiving, I cooked my favorite "bachelor all weekend" meal, a beef roast on the charcoal grill.

Weber kettle grill, mesquite charcoal with mesquite chunks over the charcoal to give it extra smokey flavor. I use dividers to keep the charcoal on each side of the drip pan ... cooks via indirect heat.

Just about finished now .... good and brown on the outside, medium rare to rare on the inside .... see the drip pan full of drippings for gravy ... ummmmmm good.

Home made mashed potatoes, gravy, baked rolls, green beans, and corn ..... I've enough left overs to feed me through Sunday. The roast is very tender and juicy. Sooooooo Goooood!
