Here is the unknown gold clover thing...

Any ideas? It is there in the lower left side of the top picture. I tried to take some close up shots of it. My camera is not very good at close ups sorry. The first close up is the real color. It looks and feels like gold but no markings at all. It looks either worn or very rough texture. I thought it might be the remnants of a sand dollar charm or something. You can see where a round eyehole was where a chain might have attached to it.
Thanks for the read

I hope this storm moves things around too. I won't be able to get out this weekend either bummer <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":(">

Hey ain't ya supposed to be on your way to poach my hunting grounds?. Better bring a cooler full off Bud Ice to appease the beach gods

Hope to see you there sometime. I guess you must be close by? I wish I had as many beers as beaver tails. That place is loaded with em' I've got a nice collection going.

I live 2 miles up the hill from where Gord is going.
Hit that place almost every day. Used to make pretty good money recovering lost rings for the tourists before other tourists started bringing detectors with them. Good chance if you find a ring here I know who the owner is. ( I get about ten calls a week during the busy season to try and recover lost rings at several beaches here).

Hey that's awesome about finding and returning peoples rings. I'm hoping to get some calls from my town asking for help. The police have my name and number. I don't think I'll be able to get to the beach this weekend unless plans change. Good luck out there.

work some of the guys wanted to look at it under a microscope. I'm hoping to get it looked at soon. I will let you know either way!! Good luck at the beach today. It should be good, luck you wish I was there.
