Northwest Alabama has just been placed under a Tornado Watch. I'm in Northeast Alabama. Don't know if it will eventually extend on over to my area or not. I'm hoping the storms are losing some of their punch as the night air cools things down a little. Alabama has always been a tornado and severe thunderstorm state. We are so used to the watches and warnings and saddened by the occasional devastation. But one month ago today has turned our casual respect of storms into all out fear. Praying (not only for us) that these things settle down. I don't know how much more our state can take.

Heard one of the teenage girls say she used to just sort of ignored the warnings and didn't take the Sirens seriously....but she said she would now! They still have many missing in Joplin, Mo. Some have been taken out of state to other hospitals and it is taking time to find out where they are or have been taken! One young man just graduated from high school and it so happened they were in a different part of the city than the high school building for their graduation ceremony which wasn't damaged but the high school was almost demolished! Praise God that their granduation plans were changed to a larger building! He and his father were on their way home when the tornado hit and threw the boy out of the Hummer and his dad was injured with the Hummer crumpled like aluminum foil! They were still looking for their son, but now believe they've found him in a hospital in Kansas, but didn't know for sure at the time I was listening to the TV news! I am so sorry for the people in Jopling and in Alabama, who have suffered from all the disasters from the horrible tornadoes' destructions! Joplin looks like a bomb hit it like I saw on TV when they showed London, England being bombed during World War II.....May God have mercy upon us all and save the lost by their repentance of all their sins, for His grace and mercy endures forever! Amen! Ma Betty

Praying for you guys...Tennessee is under watches all day today through this evening.

All of God's people are in my prayers always and especially those that I wish were his by choice. There'll come a time when it will be too late to decide to follow Christ.

May God Bless and protect your home and all the people in the paths of the storms from being devistated by tornadoes! Amen! Ma Betty
