I have no idea what this is. We've been kicking around ideas, but nothing for certain yet. Mom had it in a drawer. Presumably is was Grandpappy's, but no one knows for sure.
Any ideas?

Probably medical/dental? Tongue depressor? or maybe cheek retractor?
