Most probably don't know whacha mean even when you tell them it is a button hook cause they is probably wondering how the h... you could hook a button with that thing!
I have a couple of them around here, nope I really didn't use them but my mom did at one time cause I remember the high tops, used to have them hanging on the wall, made good conversation pieces!

Yeah the old high button shoes. I'm surprised with all the idiot styles today that they haven't brought them back.
